The veldt

Summary
Lydia and George Hadley install the latest technology in their house. This house has the ability to dress them, cook them food, brush their teeth, and even rock them to sleep. This house is so amazing that it acts more of a parent then George and Lydia, its almost like the kids don't even need them. They call this technology the happy life home. This futuristic home has a high tech nursery that is holographic it has the ability to change into whatever the kids are thinking of. Lydia is starting to think there is something wrong with the nursery and wants George to go look at it. As they walk into the nursery the ceiling and walls turn into a genuine African veldt. They have been hearing off and on screams for about a month now and on their way out they found different belongings of there's all torn up and chewed with blood on them. George and Lydia sat down the kids and told them that they do not want them thinking about Africa anymore because it is to dangerous. Days went on and they still thought of Africa and when the parents entered the room the lions attacked them and ate them.

Relationship
I believe that the kids were training the lions with holograph figures of their parents to kill their parents. I have seen a Disney movie that i believe was inspired by this short story. I really enjoyed this short story and i would recommend others to read it.

Macro Nutrients

Here is my chart and my group was Tate, Michael, and I.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxQJ6pUNehWdFRCZVBfRk1FVGNVMTRWT3JLdkItUHc

The Results
In these results of the chart this shows that I have the most carbohydrates. Tate and Michael do not eat as much Bread, Pasta, and chips as me. Carbohydrates help me to have more energy in all the sports that i play. In the results of who has the most fats is Tate with about 150 grams of fat. I have about 80 grams and Michael has about 40 grams of fat. With to much fat and not enough exercise you will become fat. Foods with tons of fat in them is fast food like fries burgers and shakes. Even though Tate has more fat then everyone else he also has more protein at about 180 which is really good for a kid who wants to gain weight for sports. Some foods with allot of proteins are eggs and milk.

The Discussion
The discussion is about carbohydrates, proteins, and fats and what they are and what they do.Carbohydrates are biochemical structures that serve vital functions in the human body. They are the main source of energy for the body. Carbohydrates are very important for bodily functions. Among the most important are regulation of blood glucose and provision of energy for the body. Proteins are composed of long chains of amino acids joined together. Each amino acid is composed of an amino group such as (NH2),(COOH), and (R). Due to the diversity of their structures, proteins have many important functions in the body. Most foods contain several different kinds of fat, and some are better for your health than others are. In fact actually some fats are good for your health. There are many types of fat. Your body makes its own fat from taking in to much calories. Some dietary fats may cause cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes obesity, and cancer. If you put these facts into your every day diet it will help you live a healthier and longer life.
